Stories For All / Re: MOUNTAIN STORY
« on: April 02, 2012, 05:54:27 PM »
There was once an old wise man who live on top of a mountain. (I don’t know why the wise men always like to stay on top of mountains.)

Whenever the villagers had a problem, they would climb up the mountain and ask the old man for advice.

One day a young man decided to climb up and ask the old man a question.

“Wise man,” he asked, “What makes a man truly great?”

The old man looked at him and said, “Do you sincerely want to know?”

“Yes!” the young man replied.

“Well,” the wise old man said to him, “Let me tell you in the form of a story”

There was once a Greek man who suffered from a deadly disease. Knowing that he will die soon, he was the first to join the army when his country was in a battle with the enemy.

Hoping to die in battle, he would fight in the front line, exposing himself without any worry for his life, eventually they won the battle and he was still alive.

His general was so impressed with his bravery which contributed much to the victory.

The general decided to promote him and award him with medals of bravery and honor, on the day of presentation, he was looking very down and sad.

Curiously, the general asked him the reason why and was told of his deadly disease. “How could I let such a brave soldier die?”, the general thought.

So the general hired the best physician and finally cured the soldier, but from that day onwards, the once valiant soldier was no longer seen at the front.

He would always avoid danger and tries his best to avoid danger and protect his life.

“Young man”, he wise man said, “if you want to be truly great, you must not be scared of dying, you must be daring.”

Yama was waiting for this moment at the doorstep of death.

He asks PVNR and Advani to go to HEAVEN. But, for Laloo, Yama had
already decided that he should be sent to HELL.

Laloo is not at all happy with this decision. He asks Yama as to why
this discrimination is being made. All the three of them had served the
Similarly, all took bribes, all misused public positions, etc. Then why
the differential treatment? He felt that there should be a formal test
or an objective evaluation before a decision is made; and should not be
just based on opinion or preconceived notions.

Yama agrees to this and asks all the three of them to appear for an
English test.

1. PVNR is asked to spell “INDIA” and he does it correctly.

2. Advani is asked to spell “ENGLAND” and he too passes.

3. It is Laloo’s turn and he is asked to spell “CZECHOSLOVAKIA”.

Laloo protests that he doesn’t know English. He says this is not fair
and that he was given a tough question and thus forced to fail with
false intent.

Yama then agrees to conduct a written test in Hindi (to give another
Chance assuming that Laloo should at least feel that Hindi would provide
an equal platform for all three).

1. PVNR is asked to write “KUTTA BOLA BHOW BHOW”. He writes it easily
and passes.

2. Advani is asked to write “BILLY BOLI MYAUN MYAUN”. He too passes.

3. Laloo is asked to write “BANDAR BOLA GRRRRRR…..” Tough one. He
fails again.

Laloo is extremely unhappy. Having been a student of history (which the
other two weren’t), he now requested for all the 3 to be subjected to a
test in history Yama says OK but this would be the last chance and that
he would not take any more tests.

1. PVNR is asked: “When did India get Independence?” He replied “1947?
and passed.

2. Advani is asked, “How many people died during the independence
Struggle?” He gets nervous. Yama asked him to choose from 3 options:
100,000 or 200,000 or 300,000. Advani catches it and says 200,000 and

3. It’s Laloo’s turn now. Yama asks him to give the Name and Address of
each of the 200,000 who died in the independence struggle. Laloo accepts
defeat and agrees to go to HELL.

Moral of the story:

when i said i got over you i lied
the love i felt i just denied
when you broke up with me i cried
when you said you didn't love me i died
when ever i saw you i would run and hide
i felt i was being taken for a ride
i thought you would always be by my side
but when together i thought the knot i tied
and when we broke up i tried to forget i tried
but my love for you still grows in side

How could I be so naive and silly?
To love You so much, so deeply
without thinking about the reality
I trusted You completely
& dedicated my whole self to You entirely
A little care shown by you
took me out of my blues
I thought You loved me too
the same way as I loved You!
But now today I know
no flower survives the heavy snow
How empty,unspoken words
could make you feel this love?
I am lost and lonely again
with an excruciating pain
looks like all my prayers have gone in vain
And now I've come to realize that
each day was a step towards losing you
I lost You before I even found You…

This happened about a month or two ago near Lonavala, and even though it sounds like something out of the X Files or from Alfred Hitchcock presents... it's real!

This guy drives from Mumbai to Pune and decides not to take the new expressway, as he wants to see the scenery. The inevitable happens and when he reaches the ghats his car breaks down - he's stranded miles from nowhere. Having no choice he starts walking on the side of the road, hoping to get a lift to the nearest human habitation. It's dark and raining and pretty soon he's wet and shivering. The night rolls on and no car goes by, the monsoon rains are so strong he can hardly see a few feet ahead of him. Suddenly he sees a car coming towards him. It slows and then stops next to him - without thinking the guy opens the car's door and jumps in. Seated in the back, he leans forward to thank the person who had saved! him when he realizes there is nobody behind the steering wheel!!! Even though there's no one in the front ! seat and no sound of any engine,the car starts moving slowly. The guy looks at the road ahead and sees a curve coming (remember, this is in the hills and there is a steep, steep drop beyond the curve).

Scared almost to death he starts to pray, begging the Lord for his life. He hasn't come out of shock, when just before he hits the curve, a hand appears through the window and moves the wheel! The car makes the curve safely and continues on the road to the next bend. The guy, now paralyzed in terror, watches how the hand appears every time they are before a curve and moves the steering wheel just enough to get the car around each bend. Finally, the guy sees lights ahead. Gathering his courage he wrenches open the door of the silent, slowly moving car, scrambles out and! runs as hard as he can towards the lights.

It's a small town. Wet and in shock goes to a roadside dhabba, which is open, and asks for a drink. They find some hooch and give him a shot. And he starts telling whoever! is in the dhabba about the horrible experience he's just been through. A silence envelops everybody when they realize the guy isn't drunk, and is really frightened - he's crying and shaking. So they give him more hooch and talk about what they should do, whether to call the police or find a priest, or what.

But just then two guys (Santa & Banta) walk into the dhabba. And one says to the other "Look, Banta - that's the jerk that got in the car when we were pushing it."

To all the men who read this..please read fully and understand..

To all the women who read this.. An excellent article please read carefully..... and share with the boys you know.

This is a beautiful article:

The woman in your life...very well expressed...

Tomorrow you may get a working woman, but you should marry her with these facts as well.

Here is a girl, who is as much educated as you are;
Who is earning almost as much as you do;

One, who has dreams and aspirations just as
you have because she is as human as you are;

One, who has never entered the kitchen in her life just like you or your
Sister haven't, as she was busy in studies and competing in a system
that gives no special concession to girls for their culinary achievements

One, who has lived and loved her parents & brothers & sisters, almost as much as you do for 20-25 years of her life;

One, who has bravely agreed to leave behind all that, her home, people who love her, to adopt your home, your family, your ways and even your family ,name

One, who is somehow expected to be a master-chef from day #1,
while you sleep oblivious to her predicament in her new circumstances,
environment and that kitchen

One, who is expected to make the tea, first thing in the morning and cook
food at the end of the day, even if she is as tired as you are, maybe more,
and yet never ever expected to complain; to be a servant, a cook, a mother,
a wife, even if she doesn't want to; and is learning just like you areas
to what you want from her; and is clumsy and sloppy at times and knows that
you won't like it if she is too demanding, or if she learns faster than you;

One, who has her own set of friends, and that includes boys and even meant her workplace too, those, who she knows from school days and yet is willing to put all that on the back-burners to avoid your irrational jealousy,unnecessary competition and your inherent insecurities;

One, who can be late from work once in a while when deadlines, just like yours, are to be met;

One, who is doing her level best and wants to make this most important,
relationship in her entire life a grand success, if you just help her some
and trust her;

One, who just wants one thing from you, as you are the only one she knows in your entire house - your unstained support, your sensitivities and most importantly - your understanding, or love, if you may call it.

But not many guys understand this.......

Please appreciate "HER"

I hope you will do....

Respect Her.

Share this with as many women as possible... they'll love you for it!
Share this with as many men as you can so that they'll know why women are so special...

Stories For All / MOUNTAIN STORY
« on: March 16, 2012, 01:12:27 PM »
A son and his father were walking on the mountains.
Suddenly, his son falls, hurts himself and screams: "AAAhhhhhhhhhhh!!!"
To his surprise, he hears the voice repeating, somewhere in the mountain: "AAAhhhhhhhhhhh!!!"
Curious, he yells: "Who are you?"
He receives the answer: "Who are you?"
And then he screams to the mountain: "I admire you!"
The voice answers: "I admire you!"
Angered at the response, he screams: "Coward!"
He receives the answer: "Coward!"
He looks to his father and asks: "What's going on?"
The father smiles and says: "My son, pay attention."
Again the man screams: "You are a champion!"
The voice answers: "You are a champion!"
The boy is surprised, but does not understand.
Then the father explains: "People call this ECHO, but really this is LIFE.
It gives you back everything you say or do.
Our life is simply a reflection of our actions.
If you want more love in the world, create more love in your heart.
If you want more competence in your team, improve your competence.
This relationship applies to everything, in all aspects of life;
Life will give you back everything you have given to it."
